200K Visitors, US$397m Since Reopening – Bartlett

Jamaica has welcomed nearly 200,000 stop-over visitors between the reopening of the sector in June and the end of November.
Tourism Minister Ed Bartlett adds that preliminary figures from the Jamaica Tourist Board indicate that June to November earnings amounted to US$397.5m and that hotel occupancy rates are slowly inching up.
There has been another boost for the sector with the return of British Airways to Montego Bay on Saturday after a near decade hiatus. it transported just over 300 passengers and crew.
