Counter-attacking unbeaten half-centuries from Jermaine Blackwood and Alzarri Joseph helped West Indies avoid defeat inside three days on the third day of the opening Test earlier today.
The Caribbean side was lifted by Blackwood who made 80 off 98 balls and Joseph scored 59 off 73 deliveries.
Together, they forged an unbroken seventh wicket stand of 107, forcing the contest into a fourth day tomorrow.
