Dancehall artiste Laden has been charged and arrested with illegal possession of a
firearm and ammunition.
According to reports, last night, the black Mercedes Benz in which the entertainer
was traveling with two other occupants was signaled to stop by law enforcers in
Cheapside, St Elizabeth. Laden who was allegedly the driver of the vehicle,
disobeyed the police’s order and sped off. A chase ensued and during that time, the
law men observed an object being thrown from the vehicle.
Once the police caught up with the vehicle, all three men including a 16 -year old were arrested and taken back to the area in which the object was thrown, where a pistol was recovered, charges were subsequently laid.
