CELEBRITIES JOIN IN ON #ENDSARS

Local and international celebrities have joined in on the movement to end the brutal oppression practiced by the Nigerian Special Security Authority (SARS) 

Using their platforms to speak out in support of protests against police brutality in Nigeria. 

Locally, Spice has been sending her prayers, Dexta Daps feels broken over what he says are “Bitches in uniforms killing our brothers and sisters”.  

Internationally almost all the big celebs have hopped on,  including Beyonce, Big Sean, Missy Elliot, Rihanna, Burner Boy and Nikki Minaj. 

Rihanna  revealed in a statement that she can’t bear to see the torture and brutalization. 

It’s such a betrayal to the citizens, the very people put in place to protect are the ones we are most afraid of being murdered by! 

Beyonce “I am heartbroken to see the senseless brutality taking place in Nigeria. There has to be an end to SARS,” Beyoncé wrote on her website. 

Nigerians have been protesting against the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), a unit of the Nigeria Police Force, after a video emerged of officers allegedly killing a man. The hashtag #EndSARS began trending worldwide as protests continue across the West African country. Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari announced that SARS will be disbanded, but the violence has escalated in recent days.
