The Zee of course reached out to Joelle where she stated why she did the remix “A Jingle competition was posted by the St. Mary Advocates for Youths (SAY) club to bring awareness around the topic of breast cancer. I seized this opportunity and made a remake of Shaneil Muir’s Yamabella. This disease has affected me personally because I have family members who are survivors Breast Cancer.”
