The Barbados Government has amended the country’s COVID-19 travel risk advisory, now adding Canada to the list of high risk countries.
The change in categorisation is linked to a spike in COVID-19 cases in the Canadian provinces of Ontario & Quebec.
Canada joins the United Kingdom and the United States on this list.
Barbados reported a single 1 COVID-19 case on Friday, involving a national arriving from the UK.
