Dancehall star, Adidja Palmer, better known as Vybz Kartel, and his co-accused have been granted leave to appeal the murder conviction against them in the UK-based Privy Council.
Handed down earlier today in the Court of Appeal. The judgement, granting them leave to appeal.
This come after the judgements from back in April, when the appeal of the murder conviction against the popular dancehall artiste and his co-accused were rejected by the Court of Appeal.
The Leave to appeal ruling was handed down during a virtual sitting of the Court of Appeal by Justice Nicole Simmonds.
Vybz Kartel was sentenced to 35 years imprisonment back in 2014. this comes after he was convicted for the killing of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams.
