The Palace amusement is about to re-establish a drive in cinema. The company has obtained a license for premises at Dominica Drive in New Kingston for the throwback entertainment option.
With the corona Virus pandemic on us since March 14 of this year most entertainment business are forced to close its doors including movie theaters.
And of course closure of the cinema doors resulted in major losses.
Now due to this bad time, Several big name films have postponed the premiere of highly anticipated movies for 2020, leaving smaller films up for grabs.
Of course this is not new to us as it was only 16 years ago that the Palace Amusement Company Limited wrapped up operations on the legendary Harbour View Drive-In theatre – after it was substantially damaged by Hurricane Ivan.
A specific date for it to begin is not yet known.
