Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is now a part of the Netflix family.
Yesterday, it was made public that Prince Harry and wife Meghan have founded a yet-to-be-named production company and signed a huge deal with the 182 million streaming platform Netflix to make documentaries, docuseries, feature films, scripted shows and children’s programming.
In a statement, the Sussexes said: ‘Our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope. As new parents, making inspirational family programming is also important to us.’
The move comes just six months after the couple stepped down from their roles as senior royals and moved to Los Angeles.
Ted Sarandos, Netflix’s chief content officer and co-chief exec, shared how proud they were of the couple to have chosen Netflix as their creative. The financial terms of the deal is not yet know.
