The Preliminary estimate to clear roads blocked by heavy rains since the weekend, has been put at 54 million dollars.
CEO of the National Works Agency NWA, EG Hunter, says up to last evening (Mon), some 20 locations islandwide, were impacted by the rainfall.
He believes drain cleaning exercises done earlier this year, reduced the effects of the rain.
