ViacomCBS is ending a decades-long relationship with Nick Cannon after he recently made anti-Semitic comments on his podcast.
The actor and TV host was joined by controversial hip hop figure Professor Griff on a recent episode of the “Cannon’s Class” podcast, where talk turned to Black people as the “true Hebrews” and included anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.

ViacomCBS announced Tuesday that it was severing its ties with Cannon.
On Wednesday a spokesman for the corporation released a statement to CNN saying the company “condemns bigotry of any kind and we categorically denounce all forms of anti-Semitism.”
However, Cannon in response is demanding ownership of his MTV and VH1 series Wild ‘N Out, alleging, in part, that the company “swindled” the show away from him.
In a nearly 1,500-word message posted this morning, Cannon writes, “I created a billion-dollar brand that expanded across a multitiered empire that is still Viacom’s biggest digital brand, touring business, talent discovery and incubation system and successful restaurant franchise.
In response to the CBSViacom announcement, Sean Combs tweeted his support for Cannon, seeming to offer him a job with his cable network Revolt TV and saying “We are for our people first.”
The apparent job offer comes as Revolt TV announced new leadership today, with Roma Khanna stepping down as CEO.
