Bounty Killer has taken up for his fellow veteran Dancehall artiste, Ninjaman who is incarcerated for murder.
Bounty, in an Instagram post, refuted the claims that Ninjaman is in need of help and is not being supported.
He shared a photo and in the caption, Bounty stated that:
“in happier times with the hardcore dancehall messiah, “I hear some ppl talking crap. This man nuh need unuh help ninja have enuff kids and grandkids musically or biologically to assist in whatever ways. He was the first top deejay to collaborate with me on Cob Scout with no hesitation my Don that despite whatever the needs I’m here indeed blessings goes out.”
Bounty’s salute to Ninjaman was apparently prompted after videos began circulating earlier this month appealing for help for Ninjaman, claiming that no one remembers the contribution that Ninjaman gave to his community while he was a free man and that now that he needs help no one is listening.
Ninjaman will be eligible for parole after serving 25 years.
Ninjaman was sentenced in 2017 to life in prison for the 2009 murder of Ricardo Johnson
