So yesterday it was reported that the corona virus is on the island. Most Jamaicans as we all know dont really take things seriously as they did have a field day on social media yesterday.

“Mi fren seh Corona naah come a Hanover cause it no located inna Jamaica.”
“I won’t be surprised if I see a party keeping in Jamaica called Corona Dusk Mask Edition.”
while over on instagram a user said “mi deh yah a stress and Jamaicans a tek it fi joke.”
What do Jamaicans really take serious though?
Well the Covid 19 is a large group of viruses that can cause illnesses to both human and animals.
Some tips to help prevent the spread of this illness is, ensure that you wash your hands with soap and water, avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth. And avoid close contact with persons who are ill.
