Jamaica has confirmed its first case of the Coronavirus.
Health Minister Dr Christopher Tufton made the disclosure a short while ago. He further outlined the Ministry’s response to this latest update.
Dr Tufton says the Ministry is equipped with enough supplies to treat cases of the coronavirus.
The female patient returned from the United Kingdom on March 4.
She had been in isolation since yesterday after showing respiratory symptoms.
