The 2nd Staging of Jamaica Rum Festival came to a close last evening at Hope Gardens in Kingston.
With the increased interests from patrons, the 2-day event saw a sold-out venue on the first night, where a number of locally produced rums were on display, seminars hosted, a food village, as well as a number of artistes, rostered over the two-day affair.
The event also saw an expanded venue due to the overwhelming support of the festival’s inaugural staging.
Here’s more from J. Wray & Nephew’s Marketing Manager, Telicia Lindo-Johnson.
Meanwhile, Worthy Park Estate’s Marketing Manager, Tameka West, is pleased with the promoter’s efforts, adding that rum plays a significant part in Jamaica’s entertainment culture.
