REGGAE GIRLZ END FAILED OLYMPIC QUALIFIERS ON HIGH BLANKING ST KITTS AND NEVIS 7-0

Jamaica’s Reggae Girlz ended their campaign at the CONCACAF Olympic Qualifiers on a winning note last night (Tues).

Double strikes from Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw and Kyla McCoy each, led them to a 7-0 hammering of St. Kitts and Nevis in their final group B game in Edinburgh, Texas.

Shaw’s stumping header in the 38th minute got the Jamaicans to a 1-0 lead. Two minutes later the lead was doubled with a right-footed finish from Tiffany Cameron.

Havana Solaun increased it to 3-0 in the first minute, after slipping in a free kick, before Shaw had her second with a right-footer for a 4-0 lead in the 57th.

Trudy Carter’s penalty conversion in the 68th minute, extended the lead to 5-0, followed by McCoy’s first in the 70th to 6.

McCoy then completed the evening with the 7th and final goal in the 85th minute, to seal the three points for the Reggae Girlz.
