Former Vere Technical student Andrenette Knight, representing the University of Virginia, won the women’s 400m in 55.56s at the Navy Invitational in Annapolis, Maryland on the weekend.
Meanwhile, at the Liberty Flames Invitational over in Virginia, former Newell and Kingston College athlete Shivnarine Smalling, representing Saint Augustine’s University, won the 60m in 6.85s.
Former Edwin Allen standout Shannon Kalawan won the women’s 400m and finished third in the 200m.
