It was announced this morning that there will be a tribute to the late Nipsey Hussle. The Recording academy announced that it will be an all star tribute during the 62nd Grammy awards coming this Sunday featuring, Kirk Franklin, DJ Khalid, John Legend, Meek Mill, Roddy Ricch and YG will hit the stage for the three times Grammy nominee.
This time last year, Nipsey Hussle attended the Grammy Awards as a first-time nominee for his long-awaited feature length studio album, “Victory Lap”, however he lost to Cardi B for best rap album. Two months after the award show, the 33-year-old rapper and entrepreneur was gunned down in the parking lot of his clothing store.
The Grammy’s will be held at the staples center on January 26 at 7pm, there will also be a live broadcast on CBS.
