Rapper Dequantes Lamar, more popularly known as Rich Homie Quan (RHQ), has had his case of felony drug charges officially dropped.
Back In 2017, while on his way to a club, the Atlanta born rapper was detained by police officers alongside five other men. The van they were riding in was pulled over by officers and they reportedly discovered drugs and a fire arm.
A few days later the gun charges were dropped but RHQ was on trial for the possession of drugs with the intent to distribute. law enforcement reportedly said that the drug found in his possession was marijuana, but the amount he carried was not said.
However, the case has been thrown out due to the prosecution having lack of evidence.
If the rapper was convicted, he would have faced up to thirty years in prison.
The rapper recently released his ten-track mixtape “Coma” earlier this month.
