The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) has expressed full support for the referees who went on strike over the weekend, resulting in the cancellation of all DaCosta Cup and Manning Cup schoolboy football matches.
The strike was prompted by safety concerns, and the JFF has backed the referees' decision to refuse officiating until their safety can be assured.
In a statement released on Sunday, the JFF highlighted the crucial role referees play in the development of football and underscored the importance of ensuring their safety while carrying out their responsibilities.
