Streaming Service Netflix Reported That It Has Taken Over The Historic Paris Single Screen Cinema In New York.
Sheldon Solow Who Is The Owner For The Cinema Closed Its Door August 2019 After 71 Years, But Netflix Decided It Wanted To Keep The Doors Opened. They Released A Statement Monday That it Signed A Lease For The Historic Site. How Long Is This Lease? We Don’t Know Because Terms And Time Of The Lease Were Not Disclosed.
However This Is Not Netflix’s First Attempt To Take Over A Theater, As They Were Considering The Iconic Egyptian Theater In Los Angeles In April Of This Year.
Netflix Leased The Theater Space Only For Screening, Special Events, Its Films And Theatrical Runs. Netflix No Longer Has To Rent Random Theater Space For Their Films, As This Space, Now Become The Home To House Any Special That The Streaming Service Has.
