American rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has teamed up with Netflix to produce a documentary series about Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The docu-series will explore the recent charges Diddy is facing, which include sex trafficking, multiple allegations of sexual assault, and racketeering.
In May, the “Candy Shop” rapper revealed that Netflix had won the bidding rights for the project, a deal Netflix later confirmed. Although a premiere date has not been set, production is already underway.
In an exclusive interview with Variety, 50 Cent and producer Alexandria Stapleton said that Diddy’s story has significant human impact, and though the allegations are disturbing, their aim is to ensure that individual actions do not overshadow the culture’s boarder contributions.
