Reggae singer Koffee has been featured in Essence Magazine.
The 19-year-old Spanish Town native is being touted as the leader of the pack of a wave of new talent bringing a jolt of energy to the reggae culture.
The article speaks about her rise to fame in 2017 and the global success of her hit single Toast.
It adds that the industry’s acceptance of Koffee has been gratifying in part because of how infrequently women have been championed inside and outside of the business.
With the success of her debut EP ‘Rapture’, Koffee is being mentioned among the favorites for the Grammy Awards in 2020.
The EP is among the more than 120 reggae Grammy submissions.
