Taylor Swift’s ‘Lover” tops billboard

Taylor Swift returned to No. 1 on Billboard’s Artist 100 chart for a record-extending 37th week with the help of her latest album, Lover.

Swift jumped from 3rd position to the top spot on the Artist 100 chart dated September 7 to become the top musical act in the U.S. This marks the first time she has topped the chart since December 2017.

Swift’s latest album, Lover, debuted at No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart with 867,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music.

The huge opening of Lover also helped three of Swift’s previous albums– 1989, Reputation and Red– to enter the 200 list, at 92, 96 and 183, respectively.

All 18 tracks from Lover have also entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart, led by “You Need to Calm Down” at No. 4 and “Lover” at No. 10.
