Several corporate area communities are experiencing disruptions to their water supply. The national water commission says turbidity issues are impacting water supply distribution from Hope System in St. Andrew.

The high turbidity results from the overnight rain have caused a slowdown in the operations at the Hope filter plant.

This will result in a delay to the restart of operations due to low storage levels and will impact the supply times to the areas scheduled for today.

As a result, the adjusted service time will be from 9 am to 6 pm with Gordon Town and environs to be affected.
