The Police have increased their presence on the road for the start of the new school year today.
According to the Jamaica Constabulary Force, this is to ensure the effective and consistent management of traffic.
This in light of the major increases in traffic including pedestrians, particularly school children, public passenger vehicles and other road users.
There is an expectation that motorists will experience delays along major thoroughfares in the Corporate Area, which are still under construction.
