Chris Brown has scored a legal victory in his Florida criminal case.

The “No Guidance” singer won’t be charged with battery for allegedly punching a photographer at a Tampa nightclub in 2017.

Brown was arrested last year after the altercation. But the charge was dropped due to insufficient evidence. Sources with knowledge of the case tell TMZ that the photographer “lacked credibility.”

Brown was arrested in West Palm Beach in July 2018 and charged with felony battery stemming from the 2017 incident.

The photographer told police he was hired to take pictures at the club. However, when he came in contact with Brown, the singer allegedly told him to stop snapping pics, but he apparently persisted.

That’s when Brown allegedly punched him in the mouth, leaving him with injuries on his upper and lower lip. Chris fled the scene before cops arrived, but about a year later, he was arrested on an open warrant when he returned to Florida.
