Popular Jamaican producer Damage Musiq hosts an Instagram competition to provide a chance for a young artiste to be on his upcoming rhythm compilation.
On Thursday, Damage uploaded to his Instagram a snippet of the ‘Miami Heights’ instrumental with the caption,
“There has been a lot of young acts who would like to work with “Damage Musiq. Here’s Your Chance”- Damage wrote while listing the requirements for contestants.
Since then, Damage has been uploading the different contestants who displayed their lyrical abilities.
In an interview with the Zee on Wednesday, Damage explains that this is the first time he is adding a young artist to his compilations and the reason for why he is doing so.
The ‘Miami Heights’ rhythm compilation will feature artists such as Teejay, Demarco, Tommy Lee Sparta, Shatta Wale, Jahvillani, I-Octane and Progress.
Damage Musiq’s ‘Miami Heights’ rhythm compilation is scheduled to be released on August 3.
