The Met Office says this Trough will linger across the island until late this evening into early Friday morning.

Thereafter, a High Pressure Ridge is expected to rebuild across Jamaica.

This morning will be mainly sunny and hazy.

This afternoon expect isolated showers and thunderstorms across sections of central and western parishes.

Tonight will mainly fair.

A Small Craft Warning is in effect for offshore areas of the south coast due to strong winds and rough seas.

Maximum temperature expected for Kingston and Montego Bay today is 35 degrees Celsius.
