Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz are through to the quarter-finals of the Conacacf Gold Cup, despite scrambling to a 1-all draw with Curacao in the event at the Bank of California Stadium in Los Angeles last night (Tues). They surrendered a first half lead.
A 14th minute strike from Shamar Nicholson gave the Reggae Boyz the lead, but Curacao came running back and grabbed a share of the points in the dying moments when Jurien Garri scored in time added on.
Despite the draw, the Boyz top Group C, finishing on five points, one more than Curacao who also made progress.
