The Met Office says this High Pressure Ridge and the Low-Level Jet Stream will remain across the island over the next few days.

A Low-Level Jet Stream is a relatively narrow band of strong wind in the low levels of the atmosphere.

This morning into this afternoon will be mainly sunny and windy.

This afternoon expect Isolated showers across sections of central and western parishes.

Tonight will be fair.

A Small Craft Warning remains in effect for offshore areas of the south coast due to strong winds and rough seas.

Maximum temperature expected for Kingston and Montego Bay today is 34 degrees Celsius.
