American basketball player Stephen Curry congratulated Canadian rapper Drake after basketball team Toronto Raptors won their first NBA championship against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday.
Following the loss, Steph Curry was seen on a FaceTime call with Drake offering his congratulations.
Drake has been trolling the Golden State Warriors since Game 1 of the NBA finals through to Game 6. From taunting the players from the sidelines to posting memes on Instagram.
Drake has been supporting the Raptors during the championship to the point where he announced on Instagram that he will release two singles dedicated to the Raptors. The two singles entitled, “Omerta” and “Money In The Grave” which features Rick Ross is scheduled to be released on June 14.
The Toronto Raptors beat Golden State Warriors 114-110 in 4 games to 2 of the NBA Finals.
