Offset joins the list of celebrities who attacked their fans because they disliked an action from the fan.

According to TMZ, a felony arrest warrant was issued for Offset back in April after a fan named Junior Gibbons filed a police report about an incident inside a store. Gibbons used his phone to video record Offset while he was walking by when Gibbons greeted Offset saying, “Waddup Offset?”

Then, Offset smacked the device out of his hand. Gibbons claimed the screen shattered when the phone crashed to the ground.

Now, prosecutors decided not to pursue a case against Offset after the rapper and his fan, Gibbons, mutually agreed that Offset would replace the damaged phone.

Offset is not the only celebrity to attack a fan for something they did not like.

In October 2016, American rapper Kevin Gates was charged with battery after a 2015 incident when he kicked a female fan in the front row of the audience, during his performance in a Florida club.

Kevin claimed the woman was trying to pull down his shorts. However, the court decided that’s not a viable reason to kick a concertgoer and he received a six-month jail sentence.

In June 2013, Rihanna had a performance in Birmingham, England. During the show, Rihanna left the stage and walked into the crowd, still singing, when a fan reached out and grabbed the singer’s arm. Rihanna hit the fan on the head with her microphone then admitted on Twitter that she did it on purpose because the fan wouldn’t let go.

In June 2007, While Akon was performing at an outdoor concert in Fishkill, New York, a 15-year-old fan had thrown something onstage. Akon reportedly removed his shirt and invited the teenager on stage, he then lifted the teen above his head and then threw him off the stage into a group of cheering fans. One year after, Akon was sentenced to pay a USD $350 fine and to spend 65 hours in anti-gang and anti-violence community work, which had to be completed by June 2009
