The Kingston and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation, KSAMC says concerns have been raised by residents of Hope Pastures and surrounding areas about the parties and other events being held at Hope Gardens.
While speaking with the Zee, Town Clerk Robert Hill says residents raised the issue of the noise nuisance and extended periods that these events are being held for.
Meanwhile, in relation to the recent ‘hold’ placed on permits for parties being held in KSAMC parking lots in New Kingston, the Town Clerk notes that a new agreement was recently reached with promoters.
He says promoters who wish to stage events in the lots, can go ahead and apply for permit, as the corporation works to resolve the issue.
