Could this supposed bad blood be the reason why he won’t be on her upcoming Reggae album?
In an interview with T Magazine on Sunday, Rihanna confirmed working on a reggae album. The singer first hinted at the unnamed album to Vogue Magazine in May 2018 and she said it is influenced by her Caribbean roots. Rihanna said she does not know when it will be released and a title has not been confirmed.
However, she is considering the name ‘R9’ because her fans came up with it. Also, when asked if she was going to collaborate with Drake again, she responded with,
“Not anytime soon, I don’t see it happening. Not on this album, that’s for sure.”
Rihanna and Drake have had many impactful collaborations, so why would she not see it happening?
The two released songs such as ‘Work’, ‘Take Care’, ‘What’s my name’, ‘Too Good’ and more.
Could it be because at the 2016 Video Music Awards, Drake presented her the Vanguard Award, and described being in love with her? In an interview with Vogue, she said,
“We don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies either. It is what it is.”
Ziptocrats, does this mean we have now lost one of our favourite duets?
