Several of the National Water Commission’s inflow systems have seen a significant reduction in water volume due to the worsening drought.

The NWC says this is in addition to the sharp fall off at the commission’s largest storage facilities, the Mona Reservoir and the Constant Spring plant.

Many of the systems have been experiencing low inflows for more than two months.

According to the NWC, it has reduced its operating hours at the affected systems.
