Plans are in place to create a state of the art Police headquarters in Downtown, Kingston on a property called ‘No Man’s Land’.
Speaking at the sectoral debate yesterday, National Security Minister Dr. Horace Chang said the facility will house over 2,000 Police Officers.
Dr. Chang sought to assure residents that the project will not cause any dislocation.
He said all socio-economic groups will be accommodated with the culture and energy of Trench Town Rock being preserved and that the Police will continue to ensure peace and safety for all.
