Recording artiste Capleton has been freed of a rape charge.
The case against the artiste was dismissed this afternoon.
Capleton was accused of forcibly having sexual intercourse with a female hairdresser he hired to groom his hair at a New Kingston hotel on April 28 last year.
The recording artiste was represented by Christopher Townsend in the matter.
