Thousands of grade six students across the island are sitting the Language Arts performance task component of the Primary Exit Profile PEP today.
The Mathematics performance task portion of the test will be administered tomorrow (Thurs).
The performance task test will be administered to students under the supervision of their teachers.
The tests are the second component of PEP, to be administered to students.
Last month students sat the ability component of the PEP examination, which has replaced the Grade Six Achievement Test GSAT.
The final component of the assessment, the curriculum tests, to include Language Arts, Science, Mathematics and Social Studies, are slated for April 16 and 17.
