The Constant Spring Police have arrested and charged a St. Andrew businessman with the murder of 49-year-old Gareth Forbes, an attorney-at-law, of Stilwell Road, Kingston 8, St. Andrew.
The accused man has been identified as 30-year-old Kemar Marsden of Grosvenor Terrace, Kingston 8. He has been charged with Murder, Conspiracy to Commit Murder and Illegal Possession of Firearm and Ammunition.
Reports are that on January 17, Forbes was found at his house with his hands and feet bound, lying in a pool of blood with gunshot wounds. Subsequent investigations unearthed evidence that implicated Marsden; he was arrested and later charged on Saturday, March 2 following an interview in the presence of his attorney.
His court date will be announced later.
