Beenie Man who was discovered at just 5 years old in the year 1981, has a career in dancehall spanning three decades which has not gone unnoticed by fans of the genre, even though it’s being questioned whether or not he is indeed the ‘King of the Dancehall” in recent times.
This after last week’s Fox News New York aired a feature on Vybz Kartel, dubbing the Incarcerated deejay the ‘King”.
Meanwhile, Beenie Man also agreed that Dancehall is losing its authenticity. The topic became the centre of discussion on social media after being brought to the fore by Producer and Zip Jock Chrome last week.
