The feature touched on his rise to fame, his international success, his revered status as a musician and his incarceration.
The 5 minute feature, which aired yesterday, also included interviews from well known Dancehall insiders based in the United States.
Kartel’s lawyer Tom Tavares Finson declined an interview for the feature, citing the deejay’s upcoming Appeal as the reason.
Vybz Kartel was last year granted leave to appeal his life sentence for a murder charge.
A decision in the matter is expected to be handed down soon.
