TWO BEING QUESTIONED IN RELATION TO THE GRUESOME KILLING OF 59 YEAR-OLD FARMER IN CLARK’S TOWN, TRELAWNY

The Trelawny police are now interrogating two men who they took into custody during their probe of the gruesome murder of a woman whose naked body was found on her farm by members of her family who went to look for her after she did not return home as usual on the evening of February 14.

The deceased has been identified as 59-year-old farmer, Valerie Thompson, of Clark’s Town, Trelawny.

The police theorised that Thompson was raped then killed by her attackers.

According to reports, Thompson left her home at about 8:00 a.m. to attend to her farm but when she didn’t return home late that evening, her family raised an alarm.

During a search of the farm, the woman’s naked body with its head partially severed was found lying on the ground.

The two suspects who are being questioned are said to be members of the Clark’s Town community.
