The Windies ODI squad for the first two upcoming matches against England starting February 20, has been bolstered by the recall of Chris Gayle and Evin Lewis.
Meanwhile, Nicholas Pooran gets his maiden call up to the senior ODI squad that will also include Test captain Jason Holder.
However, there is no place for T20 captain Carlos Brathwaite, Marlon Samuels and Roston Chase, who were all members of the team on the disastrous tour of Bangladesh. Samuels is reportedly still in the process of rehabilitating his injured knee.
Gayle last played for the Windies against Bangladesh in July 2018 while Lewis makes a return after withdrawing from the Windies tour of India for personal reasons.
