Former St Jago high sprinter Natalia Whyte has been named the Conference USA Indoor Track Athlete of the week for the second time this season.
The former University of Auburn track star now representing Florida Atlantic University registered two wins at two separate meets on a busy weekend.
Whyte continued her decent start in Boston at Harvard’s Crimson elite invite lowering her own 60 metres school record of 7.36 seconds set in her season opener in January.
She stopped the clock at 7.33 seconds in the preliminary round before returning to the track to finish as the top collegiate runner behind winner Gabrielle Thomas.
