Dancehall star Popcaan has secured a U.S. visa for the first time in his career, marking a major milestone for the Unruly Boss and opening the door to new opportunities in one of the world’s biggest music markets.
Following the long-awaited approval, Popcaan touched down in Miami to celebrate the achievement and judging by the footage, the occasion called for more than just a quiet toast.
Yesterday (October 11), Poppi took to Instagram with a series of Stories documenting his journey, from takeoff to touchdown. And, of course, landing in Miami without popping some champagne with the team would hardly do the occasion justice. 🥂
In one celebratory video shared on Instagram, the “My Type” artiste raised a toast with his crew, captioning the moment: “God timing is not human timing.”
With the visa hurdle now behind him, the possibility of U.S. performances is officially in the conversation. The move could give Popcaan the chance to connect with his American fans in person and bring the Unruly sound to audiences who have been waiting to experience it live.
