The Jackson Brothers Are Ready to Tell Their Side

Share

There’s more to the Jackson family story than the King of Pop, and his brothers are stepping back into the spotlight to remind everyone of that.
A new documentary will put Jackie, Jermaine, Tito, and Marlon Jackson at the centre of the conversation, revisiting the Jackson 5’s rise to fame, the family tensions behind the scenes, and what life looked like after Michael Jackson became a global phenomenon.
And here’s the part that hits differently: the documentary will feature Tito Jackson’s final interview, recorded before his death in September 2024 at age 70.
According to reports, the project has been three years in the making, with filmmakers securing exclusive access to the brothers and previously unseen archival footage. Directed by Benjamin Hirsch, the untitled production is being offered internationally as either a 90-minute film or a three-part documentary series.
No premiere date has been announced just yet, but the project promises a fresh look at a family whose story has played out in the spotlight for decades.
