One M1 Grand 30 caliber rifle was seized by a team of officers assigned to the Elletson Road Police Division during an operation in Rae Town, Kingston East on Friday, February 01.
Reports from the Elletson Road Police are that about 11:55 p.m., lawmen were in the area when they searched a gully bank and the weapon was found wrapped in a plastic bag.
No one was arrested in relation to this seizure.
Investigations continue.
