Halle Berry has denied allegations by ex-husband Olivier Martinez that she put their 13-year-old son, Maceo, in a headlock and choked him.
Berry said the incident began as playful roughhousing but escalated before her partner, Van Hunt, intervened.
She maintains that she never harmed her son and says timestamped video will support her account, while accusing Martinez of failing to provide appropriate guidance.
A judge has allowed Berry to retain final decision-making authority over Maceo’s mental health and education ahead of a court hearing on October 16.
