Drake is gearing up to deliver a fresh batch of music to streaming services this Thursday, October 1, bringing unreleased tracks originally featured in his FOMO short film to major DSPs.
The 6 God revealed the upcoming release during an early Tuesday morning Kick livestream, where he confirmed that a selection of fan-requested records from the project will finally be made available.
"Go watch FOMO. It’s a bunch of songs coming to streaming on Thursday," Drake shared on stream. "So, all the songs that you guys have been asking [about]. Well, not all of them. Enough of them are coming on Thursday. That’s it."
Premiering on YouTube on September 15, the FOMO short film featured visuals tied to his May album trilogy, ICEMAN, HABIBTI, and MAID OF HONOUR, alongside roughly 10 previously unheard tracks.
Highlights from the film spanned multiple genres, including an extended version of "Classic," a bouncy remix of "Janice STFU" with Only Heaven, and the Yeat collaboration "Miss My Dawg."
Anticipation remains high for whether standout previews, such as his Don Toliver collaborations "Cold Shoulder" and a rendition of Ella Langley’s "Choosin’ Texas," or a new link-up with PARTYNEXTDOOR will make the final cut.
